When Tom Brokaw was announced at the Oklahoma-Nebraska game on Saturday, the Sooner crowd booed him.
Man, they really don't like the liberal media elite in those red states. You'd think they would at least give him courtesy applause on his impending retirement.

This is Armegeddon. The Red Christians are in a life-death struggle to impose the Rapture on the rest of us. You, gentle fool, who recall the quaint traditions of polite applause and the Geneva Conventions are but chaff in the fields of salvation seekers they winnow.
Or it's just those damn Sooner fans.

You know, I don't expect the school that gave the world Barry Switzer to understand the importance of fair play and civility.
I fear, though, that the bit about the chaff is more to the point . . .
