On the Sunday talk shows, Hunter and Sensenbrenner continued to explain why they blocked the intelligence bill.  LiberalOasis expertly dissects Sensenbrenner's dubious claims.

Meanwhile, GOP chair of the 9/11 Commission, Thomas Kean, reiterated that the president needs to spend some of that self-advertised post-election political capital if he really does want the bill passed.  We'll see.  So far, the administration has been lukewarm at best about reform.
